PANTS HOLDER

One man told me he had no use for my fancy pants holder. He just unbuckles his belt and his pants slide to the floor, he steps out of them where they remain accordionized for the night. All he had to do the next morning is step into them, pull them up and buckle them. So who needs pants holders? Okay, so that gentleman doesn’t put his pants on one leg at a time. Most of us, however, might object to the wrinkles using that his method, and some finicky wives might object to the pile of pants to trip over. I could tell from his appearance that wrinkles are not high on his list of concerns. Anyway, I offer my pants holders for picky people. Traditional choices for storing pants to wear again tomorrow is to hang them on clothes hangers or lay then over a chair. Hanging on clothes hangers requires that the belt and contents of pockets be removed. If the belt is not removed its weight will cause the pants to slip on the hanger. If contents from the pockets are not removed, they also add weight, but even worse, the pants upside down orientation will allow the pocket contents to fall out. Laying the pants on a chair is unsightly, precludes the use of the chair, and contents of pockets may still fall out. The invention described here solves the above problems and has the following advantages:
The holder is shown in Figure 1 and may be constructed of a durable plastic like one-eight inch thick Acrylic. It can be mounted on the backside of a closet door. A nice extra is a convenient tray at the top of the holder for accessories. Pants about to be hung for storage are shown in Figure 2. They may be inserted into the holder from either side. The pants hanging in place are shown in Figure 3. Shut the closet door and the pants are out of sight.
